The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for safety education guideline for early childhood education by comparing and analyzing the trend of 10 years of present status of child safety accidents under 10 years old. To this end, we analyzed the current status of child safety accidents for children under 10 years of 2009 and 2018 in the Consumer Injury Surveillance System (CISS) data provided by the Korea Consumer Resources Corporation every year. The results showed that the number of child safety accidents under 10 years old increased 2.17 times in 10 years from 10,090 cases in 2009 to 21,877 in 2018. The hazards that cause child safety accidents under 10 years of age are furniture and furnishings, followed by structures, buildings and manufacturing materials (building / interior materials and work tools), sports and recreational equipment, supplies and accessories (sports and hobby goods). It is found that there is no change in what accounts for over 60%. The number one place for child safety accidents under 10 years old is home (housing), and second place is leisure and cultural amusement facilities (leisure, culture and amusement facilities), Commercial facilities (accommodations and restaurants), which were third in 2009, were fourth, and educational facilities, which were fifth in 2009, were third. The number one risk content for child safety accidents under 10 years of age was collision / shock (physical shock), overwhelmingly high in 10 years.
