본 연구는 최근 들어 빠르게 변화하고 있는 농산물 유통시장의 변화에 보다 효과적으로 대응하기 위해 2011년부터 2020년까지의 자료를 이용하여 농산물 도매시장법인의 맘퀴스트(Malmquist) 생산성을 분석하였다. 생산성 분석결과에 의하면, 상당수의 도매시장법인의 생산성(MI) 변동은 효율성 변화(EC)보다는 기술 변동(TC)에 의해 발생하고 있으며, 특히 효율성 변동은 주로 규모효율변동(SEC)에 의해 야기되며 기술 변동은 주로 기술변동 규모(MATC)에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 의사결정 분석단위를 농산물도매시장의 도매법인들을 대상으로 하였다는 점과 기존의 연구보다 세밀화된 생산성 분해방식을 이용하여 농산물 도매법인들에게 전략적 시사점을 제공했다는 점에서 기존의 연구들과 차별화되어지고 있다.
This study measured the Malmquist productivity index (MPI) of the agricultural wholesale market company using data from 2011 to 2020 to more effectively respond to changes in the rapidly evolving agricultural products wholesale market. According to the results of the MPI analysis, productivity changes of many wholesale market company are caused by technological Change (TC) rather than efficiency changes (EC). Moreover, technological change was mainly affected by the magnitude of technological change (MATC). This study is differentiated from previous studies in that it employed wholesale companies in the agricultural products wholesale market as DMUs. This study provides strategic initiatives to agricultural wholesale companies by using a more detailed decomposition method of Malmquist productivity index.
