Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 학생의 태도가 초등학교 담임교사의 교사효능감에 미치는 영향에서 학생 이해의 매개효과를 검증해 보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 한국교육개발원에서 조사한 한국교육종단연구 2013 2차 년도 조사지 중 초등학교 담임교사 1,034명의 자료를 분석하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 18.0프로그램과 Process Macro 4.0프로그램(Model 4)을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계, t-test와 일원분산분석, 회귀분석, 부트스트래핑을 사용하였다. 그 결과, 첫째 학생 태도와 학생 이해는 교사효능감에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학생 태도는 교사효능감에 직접적인 유의미한 영향을 미치고 학생 이해를 매개로도 유의미한 간접효과가 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 교사효능감에 영향을 미치는 학생에 대한 교육과 상담 과정 그리고 정책적 보완 필요성을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to verify the mediation effects of teacher’s awareness about the students on the process where student’s attitude affected teacher efficacy. Data of 1,034 elementary school teachers from ‘Korean educational longitudinal study 2013 (II)’ conducted by national Korean Educational Development Institute were analyzed. The analyses were carried out with SPSS 18.0 and Process Macro 4.0 (Model 4) using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, regression analysis, and bootstrapping. The results showed that 1. student’s attitude and teacher’s awareness about the students significantly influenced teacher efficacy, 2. student’s attitude showed not only significant direct influence on teacher efficacy, but also significant indirect influence with the mediation effect of teacher’s awareness about the students. The study also suggested the necessity to complement the education and counseling program and the relevant policy for students who could affect teach efficacy.
