Abstract

본 연구는 초기 청소년기에 있는 초등학교 고학년의 인터넷에 대한 태도가 유튜브 인식을 매개로 유튜브 사용시간에 미치는 영향에서 부모중재의 조절된 매개효과를 파악하고 궁극적으로 유튜브의 과도한 사용으로 인한 부정적 폐해를 줄이고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2020년도에 수집된 청소년미디어패널 2,723명의 자료를 활용하였으며, 분석방법으로는 SPSS Process Macro를 사용하였다. 주요 연구결과로 첫째, 인터넷에 대한 태도는 유튜브 인식, 유튜브 사용시간과 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였으며, 부모중재는 유튜브 사용시간, 유튜브 인식과 부적으로 유의한 상관관계를 맺고 있었다. 둘째, 인터넷에 대한 태도와 유튜브 사용시간과의 관계에서 유튜브 인식은 유의한 부분 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 초등학교 고학년들의 인터넷에 대한 태도가 유튜브 인식을 매개로 유튜브 사용시간에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 부모중재는 유의한 조절된 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 주요 연구결과에 근거하여 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 유튜브 사용에 관한 함의점을 제시하였다.

This study aims to identify the moderated mediating effect of parental mediation in the influence of the Internet attitude of upper elementary school students in early adolescence on YouTube usage time through YouTube perception, and ultimately to reduce the negative harm caused by excessive use of YouTube. For this purpose, data from 2,723 youth media panel members collected in 2020 were used, and SPSS Process Macro was used as an analysis method. The main research results are: First, Internet attitude showed a positive significant correlation with YouTube usage time and YouTube usage time, and parental intervention had a negative significant correlation with YouTube usage time and YouTube perception. Second, YouTube perception was confirmed to have a significant partial mediating effect in the relationship between Internet attitude and YouTube usage time. Third, in the relationship which upper elementary school students' Internet attitude influences YouTube usage time through YouTube perception, parental intervention was found to have a significant moderated mediating effect. Based on these major research results, implications regarding YouTube use by upper-grade elementary school students were presented.
