본연구는 코로나19 팬데믹 이후 대두된 교육격차 위기에 대응하는 방안으로 가정 내 교육역량을 강화할 수 있는 부모교육프로그램을 개발하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 특별히 본연구에서는 초기 자녀교육에서 아버지의 역할이 큰 영향을 미친다는 선행연구와 디지털 시대에 새로운 교육 방법의 요구에 기초하여 온라인 동영상으로 제공될 수 있는 문화예술기반의 파더링교육프로그램을 개발하였다. 온라인 파더링교육프로그램은 프로그램 개발계획, 요구도 조사, 개발 방향 확립을 위한 전문가 회의, 영역별 전문가와의 협력을 통한 교육콘텐츠 개발과 샘플 동영상 콘텐츠 제작 및 프로그램 평가 단계를 거쳐 6개 문화예술영역의 총 36개 시나리오로 구성되었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램은 짧은 동영상으로 제공되는 교육을 통해 아버지가 실제로 자녀와의 상호작용과 교육적 의미가 있는 놀이를 어떻게 실행할 수 있는지 실용적인 방법을 교육하는 데 중점을 두었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램은 기존의 부모교육프로그램보다 더 효과적으로 활용될 것으로 기대할 수 있다. 논의에서는 디지털 매체를 활용한 다양한 프로그램 개발 연구가 지속될 수 있도록 정부와 산업기술 분야의 협력적 지원을 제안하였다.
This study aims to develop a parent education program that can enhance the educational capacity of families in response to the educational gap crisis that emerged after the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, based on previous studies that suggest that fathers play a significant role in early childhood education and the demand for new educational methods in the digital age, this study developed a fathering education program that can be delivered online through videos. The online fathering education program consists of 36 scenarios in six cultural and artistic domains, which were developed through the stages of program development plan, needs assessment, expert meeting to establish the development direction, collaboration with experts in each domain to develop educational contents, sample video content production and program evaluation. The program developed in this study focused on educating fathers on practical ways to implement interactions and educational play with their children through short videos. The program developed in this study is expected to be more effective than existing parent education programs. In the discussion, we proposed collaborative support from the government and industrial technology sectors to enable continuous research on various program development using digital media.
