대학 졸업자들은 취업 절벽에 절망하고 있는데, 중소기업은 인력난에 허덕이고 있다. 대학생들은 중소기업 취업에 대한 인식이 낮을까? 본 연구는 지역 대학생의 중소기업 취업에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 부산의 B대학 전교생을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 562명으로부터 응답을 받았다. 설문 자료의 분석결과 ‘취업하고 싶은 직장 형태’로서의 중소기업은 네 번째였으나, ‘취업할 가능성이 높은 직장 형태’로는 첫 번째로 나타났다. 응답자의 76.5%는 중소기업에 취업할 의사가 있다고 나타났다. 이는 대학생들의 중소기업 취업에 대한 인식이 상당히 높아진 것으로 교육 및 진로 지도에 반영할 필요가 있다. 중소기업 취업을 위해 중요하게 생각하는 것은 ‘근무환경’, ‘급여수준’, ‘적성과 흥미’, ‘고용 안정성’, ‘기업평판’ 순으로 나타났다.
University graduates are despairing about the employment cliff, and small and medium enterprises are suffering from labor shortages. Is university students have a low perception of employment in SMEs? This study is to investigate the perception of local university students on employment of SMEs. For this purpose, questionnaires were distributed to all students of B university and 562 respondents answered. The results of the survey showed that SMEs were the fourth in the type of job they wanted to work, but the first in the type of job that is likely to work. 76.5% of the respondents said that they are willing to work in SMEs, which means that university students’ perception of employment in SMEs has increased considerably, and it is necessary to reflect it in education and career guidance. The most important things for the employment of SMEs were ‘working environment’, ‘pay level’, ‘appropriation and interest’, ‘employment stability’, and ‘corporate reputation’.
